Visual Statement @ the bridge runs classes throughout the year and offers the opportunity to participants to continue to develop their skills. Our classes are ideal for anyone looking for a new way to improve their fitness, develop their movement skills or if for those who just love dance and perform.

Want all the choice and fun of a fame-style dance academy without kicking a large hole in the family budget? It's all here, a world of dance in little easy-to-learn chunks! Learn how all dance forms grow from the same root. This class is full of energy and combines many dance styles from slinky contemporary ballet to sizzling styles and routines from top Broadway/West End Musicals. You will balance and leap, lock and pop, rock, fall and recover in a creative environment. A great way to hone and develop your own dance style. For kids and teens with little or no experience, loose clothing and soft shoes required.

This class is for those who have always wanted to learn the basic skills of cheer dance. With professional instruction on arm motion techniques, proper pose, jumps and kicks and tumbling. In this class you will need to be enthusiastic, and full of energy! For kids and teens with little or no experience, loose clothing and soft shoes required.

Have you seen High School Musical and Step Up 2 and wished you could dance like that? This class makes you feel good and put you right up there in the cool zone. Street Dance teaches fast and energetic dance routines. For kids (8yrs+) with little or no experience. Our experienced teacher will ensure you there’s a warm up and cool down: its safety, style and substance combined. So come along and have a fun and funky time to the most amazing tunes around! Non-restrictive clothing, soft shoes, water and towel required.

This is a shout out to all the energetic, enthusiastic young people around! Looking to reach for the stars! Whether you have dance experience or not, this is a great chance to meet new people and learn ballet to hip hop, so be sure to bring your trainers.

Fred Astair & Ginger Rodgers took it to the Silver Screen, Now you can do it as well…

Learn the art of Tap dancing in a relaxed feel good atmosphere. This class is suitable for everyone who have never tapped before. It introduces all the basic steps along with technique for rhythum and close work will soon have you dancing like the silver screen legends of the past. You will need Tap shoes or hard soled shoes, water and towel required. Suitable for beginners/intermediate level.

This class makes you feel and look good and puts you right up there in the cool zone. Hip and Street is funky and energetic. In this class you will learn how to shake your booty with attitude. Keep up-to-date with the latest and authentic hip hop moves which still leaves room for individuality. So come along and have a fun and funky time to the hottest tunes around! Adult class for beginners to intermediate level. Non-restrictive clothing and appropriate shoes (with support) water and towel required.

*Please note that Visual Statement Singing classes will take place in the activity room based at the bridge.

Visual Statement classes are high energy and fun and an excellent introduction to dance and performance for anyone. No previous experience is necessary but members must be enthusiastic and committed.
